Conor McGregor joined in as Nate Diaz and Dustin Poirier went back and forth on Twitter
Nate Diaz and Dustin Poirier have been going at it for a while. Ever since Diaz made a near-successful return to the Octagon, ‘The Stockton Slugger’ has been pretty active on Twitter. His tweets were particularly aimed at Poirier, and the pair have been exchanging for weeks.
Their rivalry dates back to 2018, when they were booked for a fight at UFC 230 in November 2018. Just three weeks prior to the fight, Poirier pulled out citing an injury, and the fight was never rescheduled.
Diaz has been firing shots at Poirier since then.
More recently, Diaz called out Poirier, calling him a p***y, after Poirier checked on Diaz tweeting – “Nathan?”
His Tweet read:
“I knew you was a p***y b*tch that’s 2-0.”
Poirier replied:
“They’re lying and you’re getting played.”
The pair, Diaz in particular has been wanting to fight Poirier. As for Poirier, he is set to face Charles Oliveira for the lightweight title soon.
Nate Diaz once then replied to Poirier, asking him to “quit being a lil b*tch.”
Diaz’s tweet read:
“Boss the f*ck up quit being a lil b*tch I do what I want. You do what your told.”
That’s when an entertained Conor McGregor chimed in:
“Hahahahah continue going, I am entertained.”
Diaz and Poirier are McGregor’s biggest rivals. He has a total of 5 fights against them. Nearly 1/5th of his total fights have been against either Diaz or Poirier. Staggering!
