“You are amazing” – Conor McGregor reshares picture training alongside fan in Dubai

Conor McGregor has been actively training in Dubai for his trilogy bout against Dustin Poirier

McGregor is set to take on Poirier at UFC 264 on the 10th of July, this year. The trilogy bout will take place in front of a full-house in Las Vegas.

Having met at UFC 257, in their UFC 178 rematch, previously, McGregor was knocked out for the first time in his MMA career by Poirier. The Diamond thereby exacted revenge for his UFC 178 knockout loss and levelled the scores in their rivalry.

Soon after UFC 257, talks of a trilogy bout began, and the fight was soon made official a few months later.

Now, McGregor has been rigorously training ahead of the crunch fight. The Irishman has been spotted in the Gulf Tiger, Dubai preparing for his trilogy bout.

The Notorious recently re-shared a photo with a fan whom he caught up with at a gym in Dubai.

The fan (named Julie), had a lot of words of praise for the “Champ Champ”, as she took to Instagram to claim how bumping into him was a privilege, before going on to describe his incredible ‘bag hitting’.

McGregor then re-shared the photo, thanking the fan for her kind words.

McGregor wasn’t his usual self at UFC 257. Even during the pre-fight press conference, weigh-ins, staredowns, he was a mere shadow of his ‘Notorious’ self.

However, once he lost the fight to Dustin Poirier, he revealed that he would no more be Mr. Humble, and that he was back to his original self.

The Irishman also seems pretty pumped up and confident ahead of his trilogy bout, as he recently tweeted that he was coming to toy around every fighter, starting July 10th.

His tweet read:

“Watch me open up the arts and puck these peasants around. Starting July 10th.”

‘Mystic Mac’ is well and truly back!
