The pair fought in August 2017 at the T-Mobile Arena in Paradise, Nevada. McGregor lost the match via. TKO in the 10th round.

Although, The Irishman has hinted at fighting in a boxing match again, the fight against Mayweather has been his one and only boxing fight.

Since he is currently gearing up for his crunch fight against Dustin Poirier, he has shelved his boxing plans for a while

When asked by a fan on Twitter about what changes he would bring in his fight game, if he were to fight Mayweather again, McGregor replied he would change his pressing style.

This is what the Notorious replied:

“I’d have people press forward in sparring. Especially in the later rounds. A fresh body pressing forward for the last 4 rounds.”

When asked if he would ever go on Rogan’s podcast, McGregor replied that he’d love to, and must find time to appear on ‘JRE’.

McGregor tweeted:

“I’d love to! I feel at some stage we should! I’ve a lot of respect for Joe. He shouted me out before anyone else in the UFC also. Before I had signed with the company.”
