Conor McGregor just made a young fan named Luca’s day more special
‘The Notorious’ showed his soft side on Twitter recently, as he sent his love and wishes for a young fan recovering from brain surgery.
The fan’s father going by the name Geo, decided to surprise his young son by getting the Irishman to respond to his Tweet. He tweeted that his son Luca was a big fan of McGregor and he would love it if he could get a reply from his biggest fan (McGregor).
His tweet read:
“Hey @TheNotoriousMMA my sons just had brain surgery, never complains always smiling. He’s a big fan of yours and I would love it if you could give him a message or thumbs up to keep his spirits up.”
To his pleasant surprise, McGregor replied a couple of hours later with an elaborate tweet asking Luca to stay strong and giving him all the positivity.
And what’s more? McGregor even promised to take Luca out to a UFC event, once he recovered:
“What’s up Luca my man! Stay strong young brother! Heal up and we will get you out to a live @ufc event in the near future.”
‘The Notorious’ also decided to send Luca a pair of McGregor Fast Gloves and McGregor Fast Merchandise, calling him, “A real fighter.”:
“Get this young man a pair of @McGregorFast gloves and some @McGregorFast merchandise! A real fighter, Luca!.”
That was heart-warming to see!
McGregor for sure made young Luca’s day. Luca’s father then took to Twitter to thank McGregor for taking his time off to wish his son well.
He wrote:
“Amazing from Conor, just had a baby and training for a fight and takes time to make my kids day.”
Besides McGregor, a couple of others from the MMA community also sent their wishes for Luca. A few of those were, UFC commentator Jon Anik and UFC bantamweight fighter Adrian Yanez.
We hope, young Luca recovers soon and gets to catch up a UFC event live with ‘The Notorious’ himself.
