Conor McGregor is known for his ‘red panty night’ fight term but Kamaru Usman has come up with his own term over who the real UFC money fight is

Kamaru Usman puts his Welterweight title on the line in a rematch with Jorge Masvidal at UFC 261.

Usman is the undisputed champion and is undefeated in his UFC career. The Nigerian Nightmare has beaten Colby Covington and Masvidal in convincing fashion but doubts remain over his abilities.

His win over Gilbert Burns was another reminder of just how good he is as the champion keeps breaking records.

However, he has been hit with accusations of taking the Masvidal fight because it brings him more money.

Usman was speaking to ESPN and while he had some praise for Masvidal, the champion claimed that it was “green panty night” when anyone fought him.

For those not in the know, Conor McGregor, possibly the most popular MMA star ever, coined the term “red panty night” whenever someone fought him.

Fighting McGregor was the guarantee of a huge pay day and well, the Irishman wasn’t all that pleased with Usman’s words.

McGregor tweeted out that Usman was a “jacka**” and always said cringe things:

“Am I tripping or is this jacka** always at this? Everything I say.”

Conor McGregor and Kamaru Usman have big fights ahead

Usman vs Masvidal is a big fight, especially with the rivalry between them. However, McGregor also has a big clash ahead of him.

The Irishman battles Dustin Poirier in July in what would be their trilogy outing. Poirier had the chance to fight for the UFC Lightweight title.

However, The Diamond decided to have the third McGregor clash just after defeating the Irishman. Poirier turning down a title fight for a McGregor rematch proves how big a draw the Irishman is.

McGregor also has some of the biggest PPV sales in UFC history, and there is no doubt that he is the bigger draw, when compared to Usman.

Usman might be the champion in the Welterweight division but McGregor is the king of PPVs.
