Looks like a fight between Conor McGregor and Tony Ferguson might happen soon
Conor McGregor and Tony Ferguson are currently mere shadows of their former selves.
Both the lightweights are in their worst phases respectively. While McGregor is currently in the first two-fight skid of his career, Ferguson is winless in his last three fights.
They had never even lost two fights in a row before.
More recently the two went back and forth on social media after Ferguson accused the Irishman of taking growth hormone.
Replying to a Tweet of McGregor, wherein ‘The Notorious’ had highlighted the current size of himself, ‘El Cucuy’ called McGregor a p****.
Ferguson’s reply read:
“Taking Growth Hormone Will Do That To Someone’s Build. You’re Mentally Weak & Your Leg Is Compromised. Your Fragile, Frail & Breakable. That GH Gon’ Make U Break Kid. Keep Pumpin’ Ya Chest Ya Cheat. Not The 1st Time God Punished You. You Like Picking On People And DJ’s? WTF Pussy.”
Conor McGregor threatens to end Tony Ferguson’s life
Tony Ferguson’s comments didn’t sit well with Conor McGregor. The Irishman expressed his desire to fight ‘El Cucuy’ and threatened to end his life in a now-deleted tweet.
Here is what McGregor had to say:
“Me and you are fighting one day, mate, and I’m gonna end your life in there.”
A fight between McGregor and Ferguson has always been looming since mid-2010s, but never came to fruition.
Had it taken place in 2016 or 2017, it would have been an absolute cracker.
