Conor McGregor has posted a number of derogatory tweets aimed at Khabib Nurmagomedov of late
Khabib Nurmagomedov might have retired from the sport of MMA, quite a while ago. But that doesn’t stop his old nemesis, Conor McGregor, from taking shots at him.
However, it started off with Khabib this time around, after he tweeted referring to McGregor as evil, following the Irishman’s defeat to Poirier at UFC 264.
While Khabib didn’t drag anyone else’s name, McGregor went a step further by firing shots at the Russian’s late father Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov.
While speaking on the lines of the same in Mike Tyson’s Hotboxin’ podcast, Khabib was asked why he had attacked McGregor’s jiu-jitsu coach Dillon Danis at UFC 229.
Quoting something similar to Mike Tyson’s famous post-fight speech calling out Lennox Lewis, Khabib claimed that he wanted to eat his (Danis’) heart.
Although, it wasn’t aimed directly at McGregor, The Irishman took it personally and quoted a different line from ‘Iron Mike’s callout speech.
The disrespectful Tweet from McGregor read:
“I wanna eat his children!!!! When’s the last time he’s even seen them actually? His wife? Mother? How bout you go spend some time with your kids and family for a change and keep my name out of your mouth b4 you get trapped somewhere again you mightn’t be so lucky next time.”
In Mike Tyson’s Hotboxin’ episode, Khabib Nurmagomedov revealed the hardest hitter he has ever faced in his MMA career.
The Russian picked Justin ‘The Highlight’ Gaethje, who turned out to be his last opponent as the hardest hitter.
Khabib said:
“This guy, he hit like truch, you know. Nobody hit harder than Justin Gaethje. His kick, his punch, his left hook, right hook, right uppercut.”
