The Notorious Conor McGregor wants to fight Rafael dos Anjos after the latest UFC Fight Night event.

The main fight from the show featured Dos Anjos taking on Paul Felder. Felder had taken up the fight on five days notice after Islam Makhachev pulled out.

The UFC universe admired Felder for taking the fight but the American was unable to get the win. Dos Anjos got the better of the American and even left him a bloodied mess.

While Dos Anjos stopped a two-fight losing streak, he wants more. Dos Anjos seems to be in great shape and was called out by a former rival.

McGregor was watching the action and shared his admiration for both men. The Irishman was to face Dos Anjos for the Lightweight title at UFC 196, however, the Brazilian pulled out and this fight never happened.

However, that seems set to change but McGregor shared the timeline for this battle.

Taking them on one by one

McGregor then shared when he wanted to fight Dos Anjos and claimed it would only take place after his battle against Dustin Poirier:

McGregor is expected to face Poirier at UFC 257 next year but he wants an earlier fight. Poirier and McGregor had one previous battle at UFC 178 and it was the Irishman who got the win.

The Irishman seems to be in fighting mood after retiring, again, from the sport earlier this year. However, he is back with a bang and preparing for a huge battle. Poirier vs McGregor should be a cracker but seeing the Irishman take on Dos Anjos could be another brilliant fight in the making.

The pair couldn’t meet several years back, and it will be interesting to see if they do come to terms after the Poirier vs McGregor battle.
