Conor McGregor took to Twitter to reveal his weight
It has been almost 5 months since Conor McGregor suffered a broken ankle. The Irishman had his ankle snapped at the end of the first round against Dustin Poirier, which led to a TKO defeat (by means of doctor stoppage).
McGregor was operated upon the next day and has been recovering since then. Although, the injury has been severe, nothing has deterred McGregor from hitting the gym.
From time to time, he has taken to social media to share snaps of himself – looking beefed up.
During McGregor’s latest Q & A, one curious fan asked how much the Irishman was currently weighing.
He replied:
“Right now. 85kg of muscle. No fat.”
Conor McGregor is hoping to be back by April next year. At least that is what ‘The Notorious’ stated on Twitter – expecting to be back in full sparring by then.
McGregor tweeted in reply to a fan asking for his return date:
“I will be full mixed martial arts sparring by April. Easily! By then a return will be imminent. But I must be patient. I will beat this!“
McGregor is currently in a two-fight skid, and has won just one fight in the last five years. His win came against Donald Cerrone at UFC 246.
