The Brazilian Cachoeira didn’t have the best of camps training for the fight. She first got Covid-19 and then trained despite having a fever.

While the Brazilian couldn’t make the 125 limit, the first was then shifted to 135 pounds. However, the Brazilian then slipped and hurt herself in a bathtub and was sent to a hospital in Las Vegas.

The UFC star was fine but under observation and Casey was quick to send a positive message for her rival.

Casey was hopeful that Cachoeira was doing well and she could be able to travel back without any problems. The American also added that she did everything she could to ensure the fight went on

Casey also thanked Dana White and Mick Maynard for helping her out as she missed out on a big fight in her career.

Willing to do everything for the fight

Drakkar Klose, another MMA star, was quick to tweet how tough Casey was. He claimed that the American was willing to fight her rival at 135 and was even open to fighting her if she missed that weight.

Casey would have been keen to get over her latest results as she lost to Gillian Robertson in June. The 33-year-old is 9-8 in her MMA career and she has had an up and down time in the UFC.

She has had a big win or two over Angela Hill but has also lost to big names such as Joanna Calderwood and Cynthia Calvillo.
