Amanda Nunes is keen on fighting Jake Paul after Dana White’s comments but Cris Cyborg wants a rematch with the Lioness
Jake Paul vs Amanda Nunes could happen in the future, thanks to some comments made from Dana White.
Paul has been running his mouth regarding a fight against Conor McGregor and has suggested he could knock the UFC star out too.
The YouTuber is coming off a great KO win over basketball star Nate Robinson. However, he now wants to fight against possibly one of the greatest MMA athletes of all time.
White, for his part, doesn’t want McGregor to end up facing but claimed he could send Nunes to destroy the YouTuber.
The Lioness is one of the greatest MMA athletes of all-time and holds two belts in the UFC. She too was keen on this fight and wanted White to give her the go ahead.
Cyborg vs Nunes 2?
While Nunes vs Paul may not happen given that Paul is keen on calling out the big names, another great in women’s MMA, Cris Cyborg called out the Lioness.
She fought against Nunes at UFC 232 but lost that battle. Cyborg is the only MMA fighter in history to have won titles in four major MMA promotions and wants another battle against Nunes.
She has called out the Lioness several times in the past but she is currently at Bellator. Cyborg is the current Bellator Women’s Featherweight champion and it will be interesting to see if a cross-promotion fight ever takes place.
White does have a problem with Paul as the YouTuber has claimed that he sent the UFC president $50m to set up that fight.
Paul could still take on another MMA star with Dillon Danis being his other target. The YouTuber also hit Danis with several water balloons recently while the Bellator star was giving an interview.
