Dan Ige could not get the better of Movsar Evloev and was dominated in his latest outing
Dan Ige took to social media to share his disappointment after another loss in the UFC Octagon.
The American was looking to break his two-fight losing streak at UFC Fight Night: Volkov vs Rozenstruik, but was taken to the cleaners by Movsar Evloev.
The Russian came into this fight undefeated in his career and proved why he is so highly rated in the UFC.
Evloev picked up his 16th win on the trot, and seems set to be a future champion. Ige, for his part, lost to Josh Emmett prior to this clash, and this was another chastening experience.
This was his sixth loss in his MMA career, and he posted a message on social media. Ige claimed that sometimes fights don’t go in the way one expects, but he thanked all those who supported him.
However, he promised that he would be back soon.
The Russian has to wait a bit before getting a title shot. He should move up to #10 in the Featherweight rankings after his win over Ige.
However, the Russian had one name on his mind when Paul Felder asked him what is next. Evloev wasted no time in calling out Arnold Allen.
Allen is undefeated in his UFC career and holds a record of 18-1. This fight between Evloev and Allen would be a banger, and it will be interesting to see when the pair do meet in the Octagon.
Evloev does look like a champion already, but he will face some tougher clashes in his next UFC outings.
