Dana White hits back at Logan Paul with a sly Kim Kardashian reference

Dana White clearly isn’t a fan of fights like Floyd Mayweather vs Logan Paul

Logan Paul survived the entire 8 rounds in his exhibition boxing match against the legendary Floyd Mayweather. Both Paul and Mayweather went home with a truckload of cash.

However, the fight was criticized by a plethora of combat sports enthusiasts. The reason? Paul and Mayweather were caught hugging for the majority of the match, and there wasn’t much action throughout the fight.

UFC President Dana White mocked the way the match panned out, while claiming that there will also be a market “for that kind of stuff.”

White told Farah Hannoun in an interview with UFC Arabia:

“That wasn’t a f*****g boxing match… Like I said before, there’s always going to be a market for that kind of stuff. There’s always going to be people that are willing to put down $50 to watch that kind of stuff. That’s so far away [from what I do].”

He then compared the fight to popular reality television star Kim Kardashian fighting the UFC women’s GOAT Amanda Nunes.

“Think about this — imagine if Kim Kardashian wanted to fight Amanda Nunes. How big do you think that fight would be? It would be huge. It would be the biggest…but give me a f*****g break.”

Francis Ngannou weighs in on Logan Paul vs Floyd Mayweather

Amidst the raging ‘fighter-pay’ debate, UFC Heavyweight champ Francis Ngannou weighed in on Logan Paul vs Floyd Mayweather. ‘The Predator’ wasn’t particularly happy with Paul walking away with $20 million after a mere exhibition fight.

Taking to Twitter, Ngannou wrote:

“It’s crazy to think that Logan Paul (0-1) just made $20M on a boxing exhibition. WHAT ARE WE DOING WRONG?”

Ngannou who recently became the heavyweight champ at UFC 260, is expected to face Derrick Lewis in a rematch later this year. A fight against light-heavyweight GOAT Jon Jones has been shelved due to a payment dispute between Dana White and Jones.
