Jon Jones is keen on fighting Francis Ngannou after the Heavyweight defeated Stipe Miocic but Dana White cracked a joke in all this

Dana White was left in shock, like most of the UFC world, after UFC 260.

The main event had everyone talking as Stipe Miocic was destroyed by Francis Ngannou. This was a terrific performance by the challenger as he manhandled Miocic.

Ngannou produced a stunning KO to win the belt from one of the best MMA fighters of all-time. Not only that, Ngannou also showed the world that he has takedown defence now.

He was working with Kamaru Usman, the Welterweight Champion, before the fight and it seemed to have paid off.

Jon Jones, who moved up to the Heavyweight division, was quick to call out Ngannou for a fight. Ngannou also accepted this challenge during the post-fight interview.

However, White had a bit of a joke at Jones’ expense later on in the evening.

Jon Jones should go down two divisions

The UFC president was asked about Jones and Ngannou taking place and White shared a joke towards Jones:

“If I am Jon Jones and I am home watching this fight, I start moving to 85 (185)”.

White was referring to Jones going down to the Middleweight division. That would be a tasty fight too with Israel Adesanya being the champion.

Adesanya and Jones have had their problems in the past, and that would be an amazing fight. However, White probably made the comment given how dangerous Ngannou looked, but it seems that Jones is serious in fighting for the belt.

It will be interesting to see what is next for the Heavyweight division. Miocic should get a rematch, like he did when he lost the title to Daniel Cormier.

However, Jones could be the big money fight and the UFC has one big decision to make. Ngannou wants to be a fighting champion and he might be the most dangerous man in the UFC.
