Khamzat Chimaev is looking for his next fight and it could take place before 2021

Possibly the biggest rising star in the UFC, Khamzat Chimaev, could be back in action before the end of the year.

The Swede, who was last in action at UFC 267, is undefeated in his professional MMA career. Chimaev is 4-0 in his UFC career and has finished each of his opponents. He has been totally dominant in all of his outings and picked up another incredible win over Li Jingliang last weekend.

The Swede then called out several stars, including Nate Diaz, and UFC president Dana White wants to have a quick turnaround for the star.

Prior to UFC 268, White told that the UFC wants Chimaev to fight again before the end of 2021.

“Per Dana White, the UFC are hoping to book another bout for Khamzat Chimaev before the end of 2021.”

Chimaev is certainly a money-maker for the UFC and it will be interesting to see what is next for him.

Nate Diaz vs Khamzat Chimaev could be a great fight

Diaz, for his part, hasn’t responded well to the rumours of him taking on the Swede. The American is still one of the biggest names in the promotion but his last outing was a loss to Leon Edwards.

Chimaev vs Diaz would be a huge fight and money would be rolling in for the promotion. However, Chimaev could also do a job against another of the other ranked Welterweights in the promotion.

Borz, as Chimaev is called, just wants to fight and he made his return to the UFC after nearly a year out recovering from Covid-19.

Chimaev holds a bit of a record with 3 wins in just over two months, and a quick turnaround wouldn’t be a problem for him.
