Dana White took advice from Joe Rogan after testing positive for Covid-19
UFC president Dana White recently revealed that he and his family tested positive for the deadly Covid-19. It was revealed that White and his family had traveled to Maine for Thanksgiving as it’s a tradition for his family to go there every Thanksgiving.
It turned out to be a rather sour trip since somebody up there hand the Covid-19 and the whole White family contracted it too. While recently in conversation with The Jim Rome podcast, the UFC president said:
“We went up to my place in Maine for Thanksgiving; it’s a tradition we go up there every Thanksgiving. Somebody up there had it, and we get back and we all tested positive for COVID. Literally the whole family and my family up in Maine, too. We got back on Saturday. On Sunday, I cold plunge and steam every day. I get out of the cold plunge and I get in the steam, and I spray the eucalyptus and I couldn’t smell anything. So I open the bottle, I start sniffing the bottle of eucalyptus, and I’m like yeah, I got no smell. So you know what this means. I literally got out of the steam, picked up my phone, and called Joe Rogan.”
Joe Rogan himself had tested positive for Covid-19 a while ago. It seems like he has become a guiding torch of what to do after testing positive for Covid-19. White has also gone and done the same.
Has any advice from Joe Rogan helped Dana White?
After testing positive for Covid-19, Rogan revealed that he was taking a bunch of drugs (medicines) in an attempt to get past it as soon as possible. And based on personal experience, Rogan advised White on how to beat the virus as well.
Moreover, it turns out Rogan’s advice actually benefitted White. The president of the UFC revealed that he got his smell and taste back within one day, thanks to Rogan and his advice. By the looks of White will miss out on this week’s UFC fight night, however, he should recover just in time for the UFC 269.
