Internet sensation Hasbulla will be in attendance at UFC 267 in Abu Dhabi
UFC 267 is just a day away. The pay-per-view event will take place outside the United States, with the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi set to host the event.
The stacked card will be headlined by a light-heavyweight title bout between champ Jan Blachowicz and Glover Teixeira.
The co-main event will also be a title fight for the interim bantamweight title – Petr Yan vs Cory Sandhagen.
There is another high-voltage fight in the main card that has got the fans talking. The surging Islam Makhachev takes on the ever-ready Dan Hooker.
Makhachev will have a massive presence cheering him on from the Octagon side. Internet sensation and fellow Russian, Hasbulla will be out there at the Etihad Arena to support him.
At the pre-fight press conference, Hasbulla was brought up by the interviewers. UFC President Dana White was asked if Hasbulla would ever fight in the UFC.
White replied with a smirk:
“Yeah we have a big meeting this week. That’s one of my other big meetings I have this week. I don’t know if he will fight in the UFC, but he’s definitely going to do something with us.”
Will the Islam Makhachev juggernaut continue?
Islam Makhachev hasn’t lost in 6 years. The Russian is on an eight-fight winning streak, and is in the top 5 of the lightweight rankings.
Opponents Makhachev has beaten have looked clueless to his superior ground game.
His opponent this time around, Dan Hooker will be looking forward to doing his best to stop Makhachev.
