Angela Hill decided to have some fun regarding Dana White’s talks of hosting UFC events on a private island

Dana White shook the world yesterday as he spoke about hosting UFC events on a private island.

The UFC president was speaking to Brett Okamoto of ESPN and said he was closed to locking down the island for two months to host international UFC fights.

That certainly is a huge decision taken by White and he confirmed that a lot of infrastructure was also being built in the location.

White didn’t reveal where he was setting this up, but it certainly provided a lot of Mortal Kombat vibes.

Angela Hill, a UFC star, decided to have some fun with these comments from White. She suggested that this was the latest quarantine challenge, and shared a picture of White holding a wad of cash asking who wants to fight on the private island.

The UFC boss didn’t find it too disrespectful and enjoyed a chuckle after Hill posted the picture.

While the boss might have found it funny, he has set up UFC 249 on 18 April.

Ready for the return of UFC

White also told Okamoto that 249 would replace the Khabib Nurmagomedov vs Tony Ferguson fight. Khabib is stuck in Russia and cannot fly and Justin Gaethje would not step into the Octagon.

The UFC 249 card also is stacked with some quality clashes, but the ‘private island’ talk got most of the attention yesterday.

White has been able to pull off incredible feats during his time in the UFC, but this would be the biggest of them all.

The UFC president didn’t confirm the location of the island or UFC 249. He was afraid people would rush to the venues.

White also claimed he wasn’t doing it for the money, and he also praised Vince McMahon for continuing the WWE during the coronavirus pandemic.

‘UFC Private Island’ does have a nice ring to it. However, the safety of all performers is also something that White has spoken about in the past.
