Jake Paul had torn into Claressa Shields following the latter’s loss at PFL 10
UFC President Dana White didn’t hold back as he hit out at Jake Paul for his comments on Claressa Shields.
Champion boxer, Shields, who made her foray into MMA, earlier this year at PFL 4, suffered her first professional fighting career defeat on the 27th of October, 2021.
Taking on Abigail Montes of Mexico, Shields lost via. a narrow split decision.
Following her loss, YouTuber-turned-professional boxer Jake Paul took to Twitter to hit out at Shields, calling it ‘karma.’
Shields had called it a ‘disgrace’ to fight in the undercard of a Paul main event, earlier.
UFC President Dana White responded to Paul’s comments in a recent interview with The Mac Life.
White hit out at the ‘Problem Child’ asking him to take on someone his age, weight and sport. Here is what White had to say:
“So, Jake Paul calls Claressa Shields a loser. Claressa Shields is nothing but a winner, who actually fought real people in her weight class, in her own age, in her own sport, and then goes over to MMA and tries to win a world title. That’s not a loser. That’s a winner, okay? When are you gonna start fighting somebody your own f***** age, your own weight, that actually fights in your own f***** sport that you’re claiming you’re in? Shut the f*** up, you goofball.”

The bout is set to take place at the Utilita Arena in Birmingham, England on the 11th of December, 2021.
