Jake Paul and Daniel Cormier went head-on at the packed VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena during UFC 261.

Paul was one among the 15000 attendees at the jam-packed arena in Florida, witnessing the rollicking UFC 261.

The Problem Child who is now a YouTuber-turned-Boxer has been making a name for himself in the combat sports world. He recently beat former MMA star Ben Askren in his third professional bout as a Boxer, by knocking him out in the very first round.

What followed then was a Twitter war between him and former heavyweight champion and UFC commentator Daniel Cormier. It all began when Cormier condemned the way Paul and his trainer J’Leon Love were seen disrespecting Tyron Woodley backstage.

DC took to Twitter and wrote that he couldn’t wait to see Woodley knock those (Paul and Love) guys out one day, for the way they disrespected him. Paul replied a few hours later referring to DC as ‘fat boy’, while also calling him out for a fight.

Paul further ripped into DC in the recent episode of his brother’s podcast Impaulsive, and at UFC 261, the pair almost came to blows as the crowd jeered and hurled ‘F*** Jake Paul’ chants all around the arena.

There was hardly any support for the YouTube sensation, as the crowd made it a point to treat him to a cacophony of resounding boos, even as Paul kept flipping them all off.

Who will Jake Paul fight next?

Before taking on Ben Askren, Paul was heavily criticized for boasting about beating two non-combat sports athletes (YouTuber AnesonGib and Basketballer Nate Robinson). However, the Problem Child stopped former MMA fighter Ben Askren in the very first round.

This further gave rise to claims that Paul would keep winning unless he fights a pro-boxer of his size. And, the recent development here is that Tommy Fury, Tyson Fury’s half brother seems to be the one who Paul will fight next.

Even promoter Frank Warren confirmed that the fight might go ahead very soon. With all said and done, the 6ft Tommy Fury might be the one to stop the Jake Paul hype-train.
