The fight is set to take place in November and will be headlining UFC 268. The exact date and venue are yet to be made official, with Madison Square Garden reportedly set to host the high-voltage clash.

In the recent episode of the Schmozone Podcast, UFC welterweight Daniel Rodriguez weighed in on the fight between Usman and Covington.

He was asked by the Schmo if he felt Covington deserved to fight Usman. Judging by his (Covington) position in the UFC welterweight rankings, D-Rod revealed that ‘The Chaos’ vs Usman rematch made sense.

Here is what he had to say:

“He’s definitely up there in the rankings, he deserves a title shot, you know. He’s number one, at the same time he hasn’t been really active…Covington, yeah he is a good matchup.”

Speaking about Diaz, an amazed D-Rod claimed that he needed to do what Nate Diaz does:

“He’s [Diaz] has got them later lungs, you know. I don’t know, I don’t know what the guy does. I need to do what he does.”

The Schmo and Helen Yee replied the obvious – Triathlon. A large part of the Diaz brothers’ endurance comes from them regularly taking part in triathlons.
