Darren Till confirmed the news of his Instagram via Twitter
Darren Till has had a tough few years despite fighting for the UFC Welterweight title a while back.
The Englishman lost to Tyron Woodley at UFC 228 and things have been a bit downhill ever since.
Nevertheless, Till is still great on social media and has posted some rather hilarious things over the years.
The 29-year-old, however, has one less outlet to share his thoughts. Till confirmed on Twitter that his Instagram account had been deleted.
The British star didn’t share any further details as to why it had been deleted. However, he seemed to be a little pleased by saying that social media was getting worse with each day.
Till also claimed that he had moved to a new home and wanted his fans to greet him if they ever saw him outside.
“Instagram have deleted my account!
“Arr well, social media is getting worse by the day anyways.
“Goodbye everyone! Say hello if you see me outside…
“Going to work like no other this year.
“Goals to achieve.
“Just moved into my new house aswell so congratulations to me!”
The 29-year-old was one of the brightest prospects at one time but his loss against Woodley, his first in MMA, set things into play.
Till then lost to Jorge Masvidal in his next outing. The British star then tried his hand in the UFC’s Middleweight division and won on his debut against Kevin Gastelum.
However, Till then lost his next two. Robert Whittaker beat Till in July 2020 before Derek Brunson got the better of the 29-year-old in September 2021.
The British star might have to go back to the drawing board in hopes of getting his career back on track. It will also be interesting to see which division Till fights in the next time he is inside the Octagon.
