Darren Till seems to be happy as a Middleweight with Anthony Johnson set to return to the Light Heavyweight division
UFC star Darren Till has been incredible for MMA social media and he won the internet again with one meme.
The British star currently performs in the Middleweight division and is ranked #6. He was to fight Jack Hermansson on 5 December but pulled out due to an injury.
That hasn’t stopped Till from doing his bit on social media. He first reminded fans of his epic trolling of Colby Covington from a while back.
That got a few people talking and he did it again regarding one former UFC star returning to the Light Heavyweight division.
Till has spoken about wanting to move up another division too. He started off in the Welterweight division but missed weight a few times before moving to the Middleweight one.
Plans for another move seem to be completely shelved now as he learned about Anthony ‘Rumble’ Johnson’s return.
Till even used a hilarious Simpsons GIF to ensure his point got across:
Johnson hasn’t fought in the UFC since losing to Daniel Cormier for the Light Heavyweight title at UFC 210.
The 36-year-old has been training a lot regarding his UFC return and should be cleared to compete in February 2021.
Johnson might not have won the UFC title in his career but Rumble remains one of the most hard-hitting fighters ever.
He had 16 knockout wins from his 22 triumphs in the UFC and only had six losses. It will be interesting to see how he does in the new-look Light Heavyweight division though.
Jan Blachowicz is the current champion while Middleweight champion, Israel Adesanya, is set to battle him for the title.
Jon Jones, the former champion, has moved to the Heavyweight division while Cormier has retired from MMA.
