Israel Adesanya made some comments about Darren Till after UFC London
Darren Till has hit back at UFC Middleweight Champion Israel Adesanya after UFC London.
Adesanya shared his reaction video to the UFC London event which was excellent. One section saw Till celebrate with Tom Aspinall after the latter’s win.
Till was in the corner of Aspinall during the show, but Adesanya wasn’t happy with the celebrations. He told till to “sit down” and that it wasn’t his “moment” in a reactions video.
However, Till wasn’t taking this lightly. He hit back at the champion with a message on his Instagram stories.
Till also brought up he would be back to the top despite Adesanya looking down on him. The British star then said that Adesanya needed to stay off the cocaine and that the champ wasn’t looking at his best either.
There was a time when Darren Till was on fire in the UFC and even fought for the Welterweight title. However, he was defeated by Tyron Woodley in UFC 228 and then he lost to Jorge Masvidal as well.
Till then returned to Middleweight and defeated Kelvin Gastelum. However, that was as good as it got for him. His next two fights were losses to Robert Whittaker and Derek Brunson.
Till needs to get back to his best and it will be interesting to see what is next for him. The 29-year-old hasn’t fought since September 2021.
He could be a challenger for Adesanya in the future but that seems unlikely now. Till needs to get a few wins under his belt to even be in consideration for a title shot. He has been training with Khamzat Chimaev recently, and hopefully, that translates into something positive.
