Darren Till first joked that Covid-19 wasn’t a threat before claiming that he tested positive just a few minutes later
UFC star Darren Till sent the UFC world into shock by claiming he tested positive for Covid-19.
The British star is known for posting memes and jokes on social media and is considered as one of the funniest UFC stars.
However, there was a lot of concern for him after he tested positive for Covid-19. He first tweeted that those who got the coronavirus were “snowflakes” and he was to get tested.
Till was confident that he didn’t have Covid-19 and claimed his results would be out soon.
People who get COVID are little snowflakes!
About to go get a test, I know I’m not positive…
Results in 20 mins ! Peace out…— DT (@darrentill2) October 16, 2020
However, things didn’t, apparently, go his way. The 27-year-old posted another update soon claiming he got Covid-19 and was feeling perfect and healthy.
Wow, did not expect this but just tested positive for COVID. Kick in the balls after what I’ve just said haha but didn’t expect it at all, feel healthy and fit. Ahhh well! Time to get better. 🦍 pic.twitter.com/WHpAn0vUfB

The joke is on you
Amidst concern for the 27-year-old several people wish him well. Till got his chance to hit out at all and he confirmed he didn’t have the virus.
The 27-year-old also called out all the “snowflakes” on social media too.
Tested positive my ass! Hahahahahahahaha! Fucking full of snowflakes out here. pic.twitter.com/g0wvFZEFKg

Till is known to be a joker and certainly caught out many with his tweets. However, the British star is expected to be in action soon.
He has been called out by Khamzat Chimaev but the Swede star claimed Till wasn’t at his level. The British star hasn’t been in the best of form recently with three losses in his last four fights.
Till currently carries an 18-3-1 record and his first loss came against Tyron Woodley at UFC 228. He then lost to Jorge Masvidal in his next fight. He did pick up a win over Kelvin Gastelum but was defeated by former Middleweight champion Robert Whittaker in his last fight.
It will be interesting to see what is next for Till after the loss. He is to fight Jack Hermansson on 5 December at UFC Fight Night 185.
