John Kavanagh and his client Johnny Walker were not allowed to stay at the T-Mobile Arena after the latter’s win over Ion Cutelaba – UFC middleweight Derek Brunson had a cheeky response to it bringing up Conor McGregor
Coach John Kavanagh wasn’t a happy man after he and his client Johnny Walker were “kicked out” from the T-Mobile Arena, despite Walker stealing the limelight with a stunning first-round win over Ion Cutelaba at UFC 279.
Kavanagh posted a video of Walker lamenting standing outside the stadium with no shoes on.
Taking to Twitter, Kavanagh expressed his dismay whilst also seeing the funny side to it.
@ufc just came and kicked us out. No tickets for us and not allowed stay back stage to watch. Pulled out back door, kicked out, no even shoes on.
Whilst angry fans reached out to Kavanagh, expressing their disgust, ‘coach’ clarified that it was due to security reasons.
He tweeted:
“Yes. For security reasons apparently. Open the main card, can’t even hang on to watch the last few fights.”
Derek Brunson ‘harmlessly’ mocks Coach John Kavanagh and Johnny Walker whilst referencing Conor McGregor
John Kavanagh also coaches arguably the most famous mixed martial artist to have ever lived – Conor McGregor. The treatment the Irishman gets is entirely different and it’s pretty obvious.
Iterating the same, UFC middleweight contender Derek Brunson tweeted:
“No Conor no VIP.”
It is worth noting that Brunson lurks on Twitter and is also known for his humorous side.
