Dillon Danis promises to give one fan $2000 if Alex Pereira beats Israel Adesanya
Perhaps one of the most anticipated PPV events on the calendar for 2022 is only a few days away. The main event sees current UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya face former kickboxing rival, Alex Pereira. The stacked card includes two title fights as well as some exciting fights between some of the sport’s most exciting talents and some of the game’s most established names.
Brazilian kickboxing prodigy Alex Pereira faced Adesanya twice inside the kickboxing ring and defeated him both times. Pereira first met Adesanya at Glory of Heroes 1 in April 2016. ‘Poatan’ outperformed Adesanya after three rounds and won by unanimous decision.
A year later, at Glory of Heroes 15, the competitors met again. Pereira triumphed decisively in the rematch. Following Adesanya’s initial success in the kickboxing ring, ‘Stylebender’ boldly stepped inside Pereira’s range on a regular basis. Pereria landed a perfectly calculated left hook as soon as Adesanya moved inside range and knocked him out cold.
Elsewhere, Dillon Danis, who hasn’t fought in years, took to Twitter to make an offer to fans claiming that he would be giving away $2000 to one of his fans who liked his Tweet if Periera beats Adesanya this weekend.
Here is what Danis had to say: “If Alex Pereira beats Israel Adesanya l’Il give one person who likes this tweet $2,000
Must be following to win! @dillondanis”
Fans react to Dillon Danis’ tweet
Famously known for his role in improving the jiu-jitsu skills of MMA superstar Conor Mcgregor at UFC 202, Dillon Danis is known for his swank personality and laying out his opinion thick.
However, in recent times, his inactivity being a professional fighter has fans constantly mocking him. Several fans hopped on to the tweet to deride Danis.
One fan wrote: “I will pay you 2000$ to never see you tweet again. No need to follow me either.”
Another fan replied by saying: “And I’ll add another 2000$ if he deletes his instagram too”
Sone other user wrote: “If dillon proves that he has sent 2000$ to anyone that liked his tweet. I Will double that and give 4k!”
Yet another fan wrote: “Lil bro really still tries to act like he a fighter when in reality the only career path he has left is Twitter farming.”
