Poirier is known to be a respectful fighter and does not indulge in the usual trash talk. However, he always has some choice words when asked about Stockton mega-star, Nate Diaz. This time he referred to him as a ‘silly goose’ when asked about their current fight situation on Twitter by a fan.

“He’s a silly goose.”

The UFC are reportedly working on a date to get these two inside the octagon. The matchup has all the right elements for a potential ‘Fight of the Night’.

While engaging with fans on Twitter, Dustin Poirier stated he’s willing to shave his head if the UFC announces his fight

Dustin Poirier has made it quite clear that the only fight that excites him at this point is a fight against MMA superstar Nate Diaz. He also spilt the beans in a podcast with Teddy Atlas that the fight is close to fruition.

The UFC isn’t particularly fond of fighters disclosing internal discussions or fight announcements. Many have speculated this as the reason for the fight announcement against the Stockton slugger being stalled.

‘The Diamond’ during his latest fan engagement activity on Twitter stated that he is willing to shave his head if the UFC announces the fight.

He replied to a fan by saying:

“Actually been thinking about it bro, I’ll shave it if they announce my fight.”
