Conor McGregor vs Dustin Poirier 3 is expected to shatter all pay-per-view records

McGregor and Poirier are hardly two months away from their high-voltage trilogy bout at UFC 264. The pair are set to clash in front of a full house in Las Vegas on the 10th of July, this year.

Poirier evened the scores in their rivalry after knocking out McGregor at UFC 257, handing the Irishman, his first-ever knockout loss.

And soon, after the fight, the foundations for the trilogy bout were laid. It was then made official a few months later.

Poirier, aiming for super-stardom, even turned down a possible title fight for the vacant lightweight belt. Many felt that ‘The Diamond’ should have gone for it. However, Poirier’s coach Mike Brown doesn’t feel so.

In an interview with MMA Junkie, Brown stated that this fight could go on to become the biggest PPV event of all time.

Charles Oliveira awaits the winner of the trilogy bout

Charles Oliveira was recently crowned the lightweight champion, after he beat Michael Chandler via. TKO in the second round.

In doing so, he became the 11th lightweight champion in the history of the UFC.

The Brazilian will be defending his title against the winner of Conor McGregor vs Dustin Poirier. And, Oliveira recently opened up as the underdog against both the fighters.

While Poirier had odds of -180 against Oliveira, McGregor had odds of -165. Oliveira came in as the underdog in both the fights, with odds of +155 and +145 respectively.
