The UFC have released a new promo ahead of Conor McGregor vs Dustin Poirier at UFC 264

As the trilogy bout between McGregor and Poirier inches closer, the hype has been reaching new levels.

The pair will be facing off in the main event of UFC 264 in Las Vegas on the 10th of July. With the scoreline currently standing at 1-1, both the fighters will be looking forward to giving their all, come next weekend.

The momentum is slightly on Poirier’s side after he beat McGregor as recently as UFC 257, earlier this year. The Diamond knocked out McGregor in the second round, handing him his first-ever knockout loss.

The UFC recently released a new promo for the trilogy fight. The promo titled ‘Poirier vs McGregor 3 – Violence is Coming’, begins with Poirier ominously proclaiming that “he is a nasty dude and a dangerous man”.

Poirier also predicts a win for him at UFC 264.

He can be heard saying:

“Anybody who is a fan of me, and a fan of the sport, know that when Dustin Poirier fights violence is coming with it. I am a dangerous man. I am a nasty dude, I’ll promise you. If there is an opportunity I am gonna hurt you. I am looking forward to this fight with Conor, getting my hands raised again. And then, I am going to fight for the world title again.”

Charles Oliveira says he would knock both Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier out

The winner of the trilogy between McGregor and Poirier will take on Charles Oliveira, the lightweight champion in a title fight.

Charles Oliveira defeated Michael Chandler at UFC 262 to become the Lightweight champion (UFC)

With his first title defense against some of the best in the sport, Oliveira spoke to AG Fight and claimed that both the fighters would crumble against his jiu-jitsu.

Oliveira said:

“I really believe in my jiu-jitsu against either of them, but something tells me that if I fought them, I would knock them both out. I’m feeling fine.” [Translated from AG Fight]
