Dustin Poirier vs Conor McGregor found its way into a Super Bowl ad

It has not even been two weeks since Dustin Poirier beat Conor McGregor at UFC 257 to take a massive step forward in his quest for UFC gold.

And still the highlights of their match has made it into a Super Bowl advertisement. The ad is for a mortgage lending company that helps people buy houses.

The theme of the advertisement is of seemingly ordinary people going onto achieve extraordinary things.

One of them is Dustin Poirier himself. His segment features a short clip of him inside the octagon with Conor McGregor.

Another UFC star in the ad is UFC strawweight fighter and former strawweight champion Rose Namajunas. It seems like great publicity for the two stars; not that they need any, though.

There are some other big sportspeople also in the ad but Poirier beating McGregor is a huge talking point.

Could Dustin Poirier fight Conor McGregor again?

Ever since their UFC 257 fight, people have been wondering if the two would be completing a trilogy. After all, the Irishman did make it clear that he would like a rematch.

The speculation gained more steam this week as the American took to his Twitter account to say that he was interested in a third fight as well.

On the money side of things, it makes sense. The two would draw in massive revenue again. But, could Poirier be letting go of a great opportunity for the title against someone like Charles Oliveira?

It is highly unlikely that the third fight is for the lightweight title. And if not, it would seem like a waste for Poirier if he does not end up winning it.

He is attracting the attention of a lot of lightweights now and should be focusing on winning the belt if he could. But, money talks, and we would be lying if we said that a fight between the two would not be interesting.
