Conor McGregor returns for UFC 257 and BT Sport shared another incredible animated promo
The Notorious Conor McGregor will be back for UFC 257 as he makes his return to the promotion.
McGregor shocked the world by retiring last year but that seemed to be a ploy. He then decided to face Dustin Poirier in an exhibition clash outside of the UFC. However, the UFC worked quickly to ensure this was a legitimate battle inside the Octagon.
The fight is going to headline UFC 257 and the winner could end getting a Lightweight title shot. Khabib Nurmagomedov might be retired but this second meeting between Poirier and McGregor is a clash that everyone wants to see.
As with any big fight, the promos are already coming in. BT Sport had done an incredible job with a promo for Khabib before his fight against Justin Gaethje, and they have done it again with McGregor.
Fans in awe of great promo
BT Sport always hit the spot with their promos and this was another great one. The animation of McGregor is spot on and the walking and taking the chains off is ideal to show how he is an animal in the Octagon.
Further, the gorilla coming to life before the battle was a nice touch too. McGregor always has fighting words and that was for show in this promo as well.
The promo also got a lot of people talking about the fight. It isn’t like the fight needed to be promoted further but it certainly caught the attention of many.
While many McGregor fans were quick to bring out the talents of the Irishman, some of his detractors also couldn’t say a bad thing about him after the promo.
It is going to be an interesting fight but Poirier cannot be taken lightly. The Diamond is one of the best in the Octagon and could easily buck the trend and beat McGregor.
However, the talk was all about McGregor after this incredible promo.
