Tony Ferguson looked in great shape ahead of his UFC 256 fight against Charles Oliveira
Tony Ferguson is one of the most intriguing stars in the MMA world and he has a huge fight next against Charles Oliveira at UFC 256.
This would be El Cucuy’s return fight after a horrible loss to Justin Gaethje. However, Ferguson has been doing his bit to stay in shape and was recently seen performing somersaults off a trampoline.
The American is known for his weird training methods and this one certainly caught the eye. However, there is a method to the madness in Ferguson’s case.
El Cucuy has always looked in great shape and he looked in fantastic shape before this fight. He might have lost his previous outing but many, including Gaethje, have predicted that Ferguson would be getting the win.
There is a lot of confusion regarding the UFC Lightweight title. Khabib Nurmagomedov retired after defeating Gaethje, however, he wasn’t stripped of the title by Dana White.
The UFC president believes Khabib would be back for a 30th fight. On the other hand, Dustin Poirier and Conor McGregor are to meet next year and the winner of that could fight for the title.
Oliveira is on a seven-fight win streak and could get into the discussion after Saturday. The winner of Ferguson vs Oliveira should get a title fight too and many fans backed El Cucuy to get the win.
Some fans reacted to his ripped body on social media too with one fan asking for a title shot too:
“If he wins he better get a title shot”, said where_is_jay_ahir.
Lachlanfromstraya wanted “Khabib vs Tony must happen”, which is a throwback to their failed fight at UFC 249.
Khabib and Ferguson have been inked to fight several times but for some reason or another, this fight seems cursed.
Another fan predicted a “boogeyman beat down” and claimed that Ferguson looked in great shape.
Many others posted the same comments of “Let’s go Tony” and even used his “Champ **** only” comments too.
Ferguson vs Oliveira is going to be an excellent clash and hopefully, this takes place without any issues before the fight.
