UFC star Nate Diaz was unhappy with some comments made by Leon Edwards and he took a shot at Khabib Nurmagomedov too

UFC star Nate Diaz had a right old go at Leon Edwards after some comments made by the British boxing star.

Edwards wants to fight Jorge Masvidal or even for the Welterweight belt. However, Rocky has been hit had due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Leon Edwards spoke about the cancelled UFC London event to Ariel Helwani (YouTube)

He lost his shot against Tyron Woodley to Gilbert Burns and that led to Burns getting a title shot against Usman in the future.

Edwards is now seeking a fight and took aim at Masvidal. Gamebred seems keen on a rematch with Nate Diaz. Masvidal defeated Diaz to win the BMF title in 2019 and their second clash could also be a slobber knocker.

However, Edwards hit out at Masvidal and claimed a second BMF title fight wasn’t a good fight and Gamebred was being a p****.

Diaz, for his part, remains one of the toughest stars in UFC history. While he hasn’t won any titles in the UFC, there is no stopping Diaz from sharing his opinion and he hit out at Edwards too:

Diaz’s comments also aimed a dig at Khabib Nurmagomedov, the undefeated UFC Lightweight champion, as he was called “Kabob”.

Fans love Diaz’s fire

While Diaz hasn’t fought since losing to Masvidal in the BMF clash, he seems keen to fight again.

It will be interesting to see who is up for Nate as there are many big Welterweight stars he could take on.

Masvidal, obviously, is one of them but this rivalry could take another turn thanks to Edwards comments.

Edwards is in need of a top fight and taking on Diaz would be great. The fans also seemed keen on a Diaz vs Edwards fight while some were upset that Khabib was targeted by Diaz.
