Former UFC Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar was added to the UFC 4 roster after the latest update
EA Sports continued its tradition of adding more fighters into the UFC games and brought in three new faces in its latest update.
The gaming giant confirmed that Brock Lesnar, Askar Askarov and Jennifer Maia were the three that were included into UFC 4 after the latest update.
The trio have been given four-star ratings but Lesnar is the biggest name of the lot. Lesnar is a former UFC Heavyweight Champion but hasn’t featured in a UFC game for close to six years.
He is a free agent now and there are rumours of him possibly thinking of getting back into the MMA business. Nevertheless, Lesnar was given four and a half stars for grappling while he got four stars for health and striking.
The game should update on its own and Lesnar should be available in the Heavyweight selection screen. If not, then a user would have to check out the X Box or PS Store and download the character.
Lesnar is a free download in the game throughout October. EA Sports have always added more fighters over the years after a UFC game releases and this got a lot of people talking.
EA aren’t the most consumer-friendly gaming company in the world. They have been called out over their loot box practices in their Madden and FIFA franchises in the past.
While providing extra content for free isn’t a problem, many UFC fans claimed this isn’t what they wanted.
UFC 4 has had some gameplay issues since it launched and some ranked stars are surprisingly still missing from the game.
That was one point that many fans shared and here are some of their reactions from Twitter:
