Drew McIntyre faces Brock Lesnar for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 36

Royal Rumble winner Drew McIntyre is confident ahead of his WrestleMania 36 fight against Brock Lesnar.

Lesnar is the current WWE Champion and has been on a tear, however, it was McIntyre that won the Royal Rumble.

The Scotsman also eliminated Lesnar from the competition and has attacked him recent weeks.

Paul Heyman, Lesnar’s advocate, cut a scathing promo and listed out who all the champion had defeated over the years:

“The list of victims is endless. Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, Randy Orton, Hulk Hogan, the Rock, Nature Boy Ric Flair, Stone Cold Steve Austin, John Cena and even The Undertaker at WrestleMania.

“No one, no one, has ever been so dominant for so long.”

Heyman also said that Lesnar was the most dominant force in WWE and has been for 18 years.

McIntyre, however, wasn’t fazed from all this and ripped into Lesnar.

McIntyre to win the gold

The Scotsman believed whatever Heyman said, but provided a major warning to the champion:

“Then Brock Lesnar ran into me”

“Just in case Brock Lesnar thought it was a fluke. You know, a bad day in the office, last week here on Raw, I showed Brock Lesnar, he’d finally met his match.”

McIntyre also promised to make his prediction come true and was confident of lifting the title.

“I’ve learned in my life, never to make a promise I can’t back up. So I’m gonna choose my words very carefully.

“I’m gonna Claymore Brock Lesnar. Flush in the face, knock him on his *** and pin Brock Lesnar to become the reigning, defending, undisputed WWE Heavyweight Champion of the world at WrestleMania.”

This would be McIntyre’s second run in WWE and so far, he has lived up to the promise. The Scottish Psychopath was excellent in NXT and his move to the Raw roster has worked well too.

WrestleMania 36 should be a blast with this main event, but there are concerns with the spread of coronavirus.

This week’s SmackDown will take place from the Performance Center and many cities have banned large sporting events.

WrestleMania is the biggest wrestling event of the year, and it will be interesting to see who things develop with them.
