Floyd Mayweather has hinted at a possibility of a rematch against Conor McGregor

Mayweather retired from professional boxing after beating Andre Berto in 2015. However, 2 years later, he made a one-fight comeback against UFC’s Conor McGregor.

The match was a professional boxing match, and it gave Mayweather the chance to go 50-0 in his pro-boxing career. Mayweather did go 50-0 beating McGregor via. TKO in the 10th round.

Mayweather’s fight against Conor McGregor was the most lucrative of his career

Now, Mr. Money has once again hinted at a possibility of fighting the Irishman, giving him a rematch chance.

In an interview with Showtime Sports, Mayweather said that he would be open to fighting The Notorious again, while also claiming that he would do a job on him once again.

Mayweather said:

“Absolutely. He easy…The beef is all these guys look up to me, steal my blueprint and then get to hating on me.” [via SkySports]

Later, Leonard Ellerbe, Mayweather promotions’ CEO also shed light upon the rematch against McGregor.

He told Showtime Sports:

“When I say to Conor, if you’re listening. You can get that too. Most definitely. That right there is very personal. After everything, where they left the ring, they hugged, but things are a little different now.”

Floyd Mayweather has a massive weekend coming up

Mayweather will have to be to the best of his physical abilities for the next couple of days. He takes on YouTube star Logan Paul in an exhibition boxing bout on the 6th of June. The fight will take place at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami.

This will be the biggest opponent Mayweather would have ever faced in his career. Logan Paul is at least 6 inches taller than Mayweather and comfortably weighs 30lbs more than the boxing great.

All these don’t seem to bother one of the greatest defensive boxers in the history of the game.
