Francis Ngannou was also unhappy at not getting a title shot against Stipe Miocic

UFC Heavyweight star Francis Ngannou lashed out at the UFC over the promotion’s failure to secure him two fights.

Ngannou is one of the most impressive stars in the UFC and recently defeated Jairzinho Rozenstruik in under 20 seconds.

The French-Cameroonian star wants another crack at Stipe Miocic’s heavyweight title, however, the champion could face Daniel Cormier in their third meeting.

Ngannou could get a shot after that but he isn’t willing to wait. There have been rumours of a ‘super fight’ between Ngannou and Light heavyweight champion Jon Jones, but that seems to be out of the window too.

Jones also tweeted about the UFC dragging their feet regarding the possible clash, and Ngannou ripped into the promotion.

The Heavyweight title contender also believed that the UFC weren’t willing to make it worth his time:

“In my opinion, the @ufc aren’t willing to make this Jon fight happens or at least for what it worth.”

Ngannou wasn’t happy one bit about when his next fight could be, and he pegged that to 11 months:

“No title fight, no super fight, who knows when going to be my next fight. Hope it’s not in another 11 months or so. #ThisIsSucks”

What is UFC’s plan?

No one knows what UFC and Dana White are thinking at the moment. Jones is their biggest name in terms of rankings and well, he has just one loss in his MMA career. The champion is also considered as one of the greatest MMA stars ever.

He doesn’t have a real rival in the Light Heavyweight division at the moment and defeated Dominick Reyes a few months back.

Ngannou, for his part, wants the heavyweight title but might be thinking of waiting for the Cormier vs Miocic fight to take place first.

He could challenge the winner, but the UFC knockout expert seems upset over how slow things have been.

UFC cannot afford to keep two of their biggest names upset, and they have to find a solution for all this soon.
