Jon Jones vs Israel Adesanya could be a super fight in the future but Gilbert Burns didn’t have a great prediction for Bones
UFC Welterweight contender Gilbert Burns shared his prediction for Jon Jones vs Israel Adesanya recently.
Burns is to face Kamaru Usman for the title as the Brazilian has turned his fortunes around since moving to this division.
This fight is expected to be amazing, however, there is the possibility of seeing Jones vs Adesanya too.
The pair have squabbled on social media relentlessly for a few months and have taken shots at each other too.
However, Adesanya is the current Middleweight champion while Jones moved up to the Heavyweight division.
The pair would need to meet at some middle ground if they are to fight. Many have predicted that Jones would get the better of Adesanya, however, a lot have backed the Last Stylebender to get the job done.
Izzy has been excellent since becoming the Middleweight champion and last defeated Paulo Costa easily.
Jones vs Adesanya hasn’t been confirmed yet but Burns claimed that the Middleweight champion would easily defeat Bones in any weight class.
My opinion @stylebender is too good and he beats @JonnyBones any weight class 🤷🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️

Will the two ever meet?
Adesanya and Jones have lashed out on social media several times but setting the pair up is a bit of an ordeal.
The pair could meet at a catchweight but Jones is seeking gold in the Heavyweight division. Moving down a bit or even returning the Light Heavyweight division for a non-title fight wouldn’t make much sense for the MMA great.
Adesanya has defeated all challengers in his UFC quest. However, getting the scalp of Jones would certainly be a huge moment in his career.
It will be interesting to see how this fight could go when it is set up. Daniel Cormier believes that Adesanya would be a problem for Jones or most Heavyweights in the UFC too.
However, Jones is considered as one of the greatest ever. And if anyone can take Adesanya down it has to be the former Light Heavyweight champion.
