‘West Coast Gangster’ Nate Diaz has stated that he wants to fight a top 4 welterweight next

Nate Diaz, has just one fight left in his UFC contract. The veteran fighter who has been a part of the UFC for almost 15 years, will have a chance to prove that he’s still got it.

He last faced Leon Edwards at UFC 263, in one of the most ‘Diaz-esque’ fights ever witnessed. Having been dominated by ‘Rocky’ for almost the entirety of the fight, Diaz turned it on, in the very last minute of the final round.

In fact, he almost knocked Edwards out, and would have done so, if he had had an extra thirty seconds.

More recently, Diaz, who has been teasing a fight with many of the top-ranked welterweights, took to Twitter to state that he wanted “top 4 minimum:”

“I’m fighting top 4 minimum Don’t be dragging me into your guys deals.”

Gilbert Burns responds to Nate Diaz’s Tweet

On seeing Nate Diaz’s Tweet, number 2 ranked welterweight Gilbert Burns took to Twitter to quote tweet the same with a thinking face.

While Diaz has been quite particular about fighting number 4 ranked welterweight Vicente Luque, who has been on the surge of late, Durinho is a worthy contender as well.

He last beat Stephen Thompson in the co-main event of UFC 264, after having failed to capture the welterweight title from Kamaru Usman, prior to that.
