Tony Ferguson is one of the best in the UFC
Ali Abdelaziz is one of the most outspoken people in the world of MMA, and his latest target was Tony Ferguson.
The American was to face Abdelaziz’s client Khabib Nurmagomedov at UFC 249. However, that fight was cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic and Khabib being stuck in Russia.
Ferguson and Khabib have been scheduled to meet five times in the past. However, the fight seems to be cursed.
Ferguson would still get a chance at winning the interim UFC Lightweight title against Justin Gaethje.
The American has an incredible UFC record of 25 wins and three losses, and Ferguson has been on a 12-match winning streak too.
However, Abdelaziz believed the 36-year-old would only be a 50/50 fighter had it not been for Eddie Bravo.

Abdelaziz also claimed that Bravo made Ferguson dangerous, and this is an interesting comment to make given the rivalry between the fighters.
Ferguson under the wings of Bravo
The 49-year-old Bravo holds a 3rd Degree Black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and also created his own form of the martial art.
Kelvin Gastelum is another UFC star that has trained under Bravo while Joe Rogan also picked up a thing or two from the legend.
Bravo also created the Eddie Bravo Invitational and the EBI rule set and learned from some of the very best in the business.
As far as Abdelaziz’s claims go, Ferguson is and will remain one of the most dangerous fighters on the planet.
El Cucuy also is incredibly unpredictable in the MMA ring, but every fighter needs a top coach to progress.
All athletes need to have good coaches, and you need to learn from the best to become the best.
