Henry Cejudo seems keen on making a UFC return soon
Former two-division UFC Champion, Henry Cejudo, seems keen on making a return to the promotion.
The Olympic Gold Medallist calls himself Triple C as he has been champion thrice. However, Cejudo has thoughts of winning another crown.
He has spoken at length of facing Alexander Volkanovski for the Featherweight title. However, Volkanovski recently defeated Max Holloway, the man he won the title from.
Defeating Volkanovski would make Cejudo the UFC’s first triple-division champion, and he seems keen on making that his legacy.
Cejudo also seemed to have a new name in all this as he ‘begged’ Dana White to become “C4”. Triple C also posted a photo of him having three titles around himself.
Dear @danawhite a beg you to allow me to introduce myself to the world as C4! #bendtheknee pic.twitter.com/hKokjxvzV9

The problem in all this
There is no doubt that Cejudo is one of the greatest MMA stars of all-time. However, Cejudo retired from the UFC after defeating Dominick Cruz.
That shocked the UFC world, however, there doesn’t seem to be any movement of him making a UFC return.
The Bantamweight champion has been decided recently and Cejudo has taken shots at almost everyone in his division.
Triple C has spoken about getting into boxing while he has also appeared in AEW. The former Olympian has created an image of himself that makes him a little cringe, and he seems to embrace it all.
However, that hasn’t always worked out for him in the Octagon. A return would only be for big money, but is Cejudo vs Volkanovski a huge PPV main event?
The UFC has set up some huge clashes with Israel Adesanya vs Paulo Costa being one. Khabib Nurmagomedov vs Justin Gaethje is another while there is a chance of a Nate Diaz vs Jorge Masvidal rematch.
Cejudo is a top talent and could become a triple champion, and that could see him finally get the proper recognition he deserves.
