One of Mayweather’s greatest rivals was Oscar De La Hoya. The 48-year old American faced Mayweather in 2007, and almost pulled off a win, going down narrowly via. a split decision loss.

De La Hoya recently caught up with boxing great Mike Tyson and former UFC two-division champion Henry Cejudo. In a video posted by ES News, Cejudo can be seen claiming that De La Hoya would beat up McGregor easily in a boxing match.

“Oscar would put him away. He’s a killer, he’s not a Mayweather. He’s not a defensive guy. If he were to fight Conor [McGregor] in boxing, Conor wouldn’t last a minute, I swear to you…Left hook, jab.”
