Alexander Volkanovski seems to have upset Henry Cejudo

UFC Bantamweight Champion Henry Cejudo is one of the best in the MMA business. The former Olympic Gold Medallist has transitioned well into the world of MMA, and has won UFC belts in two divisions.

The 33-year-old Cejudo also is one of the most active MMA stars on social media, and he has called out several of his opponents on Twitter.

He isn’t afraid of calling out stars on other divisions too and recently made some comments regarding UFC Featherweight Champion Alexander Volkanovski.

The Australian didn’t take this lightly and questioned who all have been challenging Cejudo for the Bantamweight crown.

Cejudo defeated Demetrious Johnson to win the crown and has defended it against TJ Dillashaw and Marlon Moraes.

Volkanovski didn’t believe they were the top contenders in the division and Cejudo was avoiding the big fights.

However, Cejudo lashed out at Volkanovski and called him an “overgrown midget” before saying he was ready to fight:

The American started his UFC career in the Flyweight division and was the champion before moving onto the Bantamweight one.

Cejudo has spoken about taking a belt in a third division too and moving to the Featherweight division is the right way to go.

Conor McGregor is the other star looking to win a belt in a third division, however, Cejudo believes he will be the one to achieve that first.

Cejudo, however, has a tough clash ahead of him on the 9 May UFC event. He is to face Dominick Cruz and will defend his crown too.

The 33-year-old is 15-2 in his MMA career while Volkanovski is unbeaten in his last 17 bouts. He is also unbeaten in his UFC career and it would be great seeing him face off against Cejudo.
