“Dana is scared” – Henry Cejudo hits out at UFC President Dana White

Henry Cejudo hit out at UFC President Dana White for not giving him a chance to fight for the UFC featherweight belt

Henry Cejudo is not pleased with UFC President Dana White. The former two-division champion, who retired from the sport after beating Dominick Cruz via. TKO at UFC 249 in May 2020, recently expressed his desire to return.

Unlike other times where he has hinted at a return, ‘Triple C’ was serious this time.

Following Max Holloway’s withdrawal from the trilogy fight against Alexander Volkanovski, Cejudo made his claim about returning.

However, White wasn’t particularly impressed with the idea. In a recent interview, the bossman said:

“For Cejudo to retire and then just think he should be able to come in and jump into any weight division and take on the champion, it’s not how it works.”

Cejudo hit back at the President saying that he was scared to give him a chance. Taking to Twitter, Cejudo wrote:

“No crown. No cringe. No gimmick. Just facts… I told @AliAbdelaziz00 ‘make this fight happen’. This isn’t a GSP situation, I’d defend the belt. The UFC & Dana White don’t want to give me a chance to make history. Dana is scared. It’s a monopoly.”

Henry Cejudo brings up Georges St-Pierre as he fires shots at Dana White

Henry Cejudo didn’t stop there. He once again brought up Georges St-Pierre, claiming that White would have given him a chance had he been ‘Rush.’

Further claiming that White was scared, Cejudo wrote:

So if I had blonde hair and blue eyes or if I was a Canadian with an accent, maybe you would give it to me? I defend both my belts unlike GPS. I left on top and retired on that Monday to give the rest of the division’S a chance. You are plain out scared that I will win.@danawhite.”

It will be interesting to see how the ‘Triple C’ situation pans out.
