Conor McGregor wants to fight Kamaru Usman but Henry Cejudo believes he can achieve further greatness in the MMA world

Conor McGregor will always make headlines and the Irishman did the same in a recent interview with TheMacLife (h/t MMA Fighting).

McGregor spoke about his return fight and claimed he wanted a piece of Kamaru Usman. He trashed the UFC Welterweight Champion as a “jab happy, sloppy, orthodox wrestler with no submissions whatsoever.”

The Irishman wants to become a triple champion in the UFC, a feat no one has achieved. Henry Cejudo, however, had other thoughts. A Twitter account brought up who among Cejudo, McGregor, Usman and Israel Adesanya had the highest chance of becoming a three-division UFC Champion, and Triple C claimed it was him.

Cejudo also hit out at McGregor, but he brought up an interesting point of the UFC not giving him the opportunity to become a three-division champion.

“The answer is me! People just want to make a paycheck with @TheNotoriousMMA Conman Mctapper including me. They really know what im cable of and it’s the same reason why I won’t  get the opportunity.”

Henry Cejudo is one of the best ever

McGregor is one of the biggest names in the sports world, and there is no doubting that he brings millions of fans on each card he fights in.

He is a former two-division champion and he could get a shot at the Welterweight title if Dana White sees the attraction to it.

Of course, fighting Usman is no easy task and the Nigerian Nightmare is the best pound-for-pound UFC fighter.

However, Cejudo is an Olympic Gold Medalist and a former UFC Bantamweight and Flyweight Champion.

He retired from the sport in 2020 and has been looking to get a shot at the Featherweight gold. No one has achieved the feat that Cejudo has, but it seems unlikely he will get his chance to become a three-division champion.

Cejudo claimed that he would end his retirement if he gets paid right by the UFC. However, that doesn’t seem to be on the cards and Triple C might remain a double UFC Champion only.
