Henry Cejudo is not leaving any stones unturned in preparation for his much-anticipated octagon return, as he trains with Mike Tyson
Ahead of UFC 273, Korean Zombie spent most of his camp with Henry Cejudo in preparation for Volkanovski. Although Zombie showed immense heart and courage, he wasn’t given any bandwidth to showcase his improvements by the Aussie. The Aussie’s performance triggered the competitor inside Henry Cejudo.
Although the UFC has made it clear that they are not interested in giving Cejudo an immediate shot at the 145 lbs. gold, it is likely that Cejudo will return to face bantamweight champion, Aljamain Sterling. Regardless, Cejudo has resumed training in full swing, and looks forward to returning to action by the year-end.
Henry Cejudo was seen alongside heavyweight boxing legend ‘Iron’ Mike Tyson on his show the Hotboxing podcast on several occasions. The pair even share a boxing trainer together in the name of Rafael Cordeiro. Cordiero has been training Mike recently, even when he fought fellow boxing legend Roy Jones.
Cejudo posted a video of him hitting the mitts with Cordeiro, while Mike Tyson watches with an observant and scrutinizing eye. He posted a video on Twitter with the caption,
‘Dissecting the craft of inside body work with Uncle Mike. Someone’s in big trouble upon my return. 🔪🐐🍽

Boxing superstars Gervonta Davis and Rolando Romero clashed this weekend for the WBA lightweight championship in the world. Davis and Romero went back and forth leading up to the fight, while Davis even resorted to shoving Romero at the ceremonial weigh-ins.
Romero was the aggressor between the two for six rounds, pawing with his jab and establishing comfortable range early on. Romero fought an extremely disciplined fight, slipping counters and staying away from Davis’ power hand.
Romero got too comfortable with his range, and felt like he had the right moment to amp up his attack in the sixth round. He cut Davis to the ropes and looked to unload with powerful combinations from the middle. He walked in too deep in the range of Davis who calmly let loose with a left-hand counter that caught Romero clean and sent him face-first into the ropes before sliding down to the canvas.
While he stood up before the count, the referee had seen enough of Romero who was still on wobbly legs.
Former UFC double champion Henry Cejudo reacted to the fight saying that the set-up to the punch was pretty weak, and Romero telegraphed his punches too much. He said, ‘Romero Didn’t know how to cutoff the ring and was coming in to linear on tank. Congrats to Tank but Over all it was a boring fight. #davisromero’
