Henry Cejudo faces Dominick Cruz at UFC 249 in a week’s time

UFC Bantamweight Champion Henry Cejudo shared some incredible pictures ahead of UFC 249.

The champion faces Dominick Cruz in a title bout, and this should be another test of Cejudo’s MMA skills.

The American is an Olympic Gold medallist and has transitioned into MMA extremely well. However, Cruz is a former Bantamweight champion and will make things difficult for Cejudo.

The original fight had to be rescheduled due to the coronavirus pandemic. That would have affected the training plans for all fighters, but it seems that Cejudo kept putting in the work.

Most UFC stars have to undergo weight cuts before a fight as they only take part in three events in a year, and Cejudo shared his 12-week transformation.

The champion also claimed he didn’t know he was in quarantine as he worked hard to get into shape for the fight.

Abdelaziz confident of win

Cejudo is one of the best UFC stars currently, and his manager, Ali Abdelaziz spoke greatly of the champ recently.

However, he also made a return after a similar time span a while back. And even won the Bantamweight title during that time period.

Cejudo has held UFC titles in two divisions and has dreams of winning it in a third. However, he is the Triple C in the UFC thanks to his gold from the Olympics.

UFC 249 has some other top fights too with Justin Gaethje taking on Tony Ferguson. That is for the interim UFC Lightweight title and the event is all set for 9 May.
