Henry Cejudo reminds UFC Hall of Famer Daniel Cormier of one game DC can’t win

Henry Cejudo and Daniel Cormier have a special bond since they were in the same Olympics team

Daniel Cormier was inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame at UFC 274, and it was well deserved.

DC is a former UFC Heavyweight and Light Heavyweight Champion, and had put in some of the greatest performances in the history of the promotion.

The American retired after UFC 252, where he lost his trilogy to Stipe Miocic. While Cormier ended his career with a 1-2 record against Miocic, DC is still with the UFC as he provides commentary on some of the biggest cards.

Many UFC stars shared their respect for DC by posting on social media, and Henry Cejudo did the same.

Triple C, who won Olympic gold in 2008, was teammates with Cormier for the USA Olympic Wrestling team.

While DC didn’t win Olympic gold, Cejudo was quick to remind the former UFC double champion of another game he couldn’t win.

Who might Henry Cejudo fight in the UFC?

Cejudo retired from MMA in 2020 after defending his Bantamweight title against Dominick Cruz.

While he had spoken of a return several times, he finally confirmed the same a few weeks back. Cejudo is now in the USADA testing pool, and it is to be seen who he fights next.

Triple C was keen on winning the UFC Featherweight title and becoming a triple champion in the promotion. He would have been the first to achieve this feat.

However, Dana White wasn’t too keen on giving Cejudo a title shot in another division. Triple C is a former UFC Bantamweight and Flyweight Champion, and he could get a shot in one of these divisions if he returns to action.
