Khabib Nurmagomedov says he ‘didn’t know’ who Canadian rapper Drake was

In a recent episode of the Full Send podcast, Khabib Nurmagomedov claimed he had no clue who Drake was during the UFC 229 weigh-ins

While promoting his first ever Eagle FC event in US soil, Khabib Nurmagomedov sat down with the Nelk Boys and touched upon his fighting career and newly adopted promoter role in a rather candid interview.

When asked about his favourite music and whether he keeps up with the current music scene, he said that he’d rather spend his time away from distractions and focus on work. He also shared an interesting story from the UFC 229 weigh ins involving Drake.

‘The Eagle’ said:

“Like people say, ‘This guy very famous.’ I swear I didn’t know this guy.”

Drake has famously supported Conor on various occasions and openly expressed his admiration for the Irish superstar. Khabib who is known for his honesty, surely impressed everyone with his candid uprightness.
